چکیده

A sterile abscess around a prosthesis or perigraft seroma is rare but sometimes occurs in after reconstructive surgery. Removal of the causative graft favored treatment, some cases, this cannot be performed, and there reluctance to treat due risk patient. Herein, we report case treated with total aortic replacement omental flap reconstruction, which fistula-forming did not resolve. Major pectoral muscle reconstruction fistula was then conducted, surgery improve discharge, new appeared at fragile site chest. This outcome suggests that repairs are required such cases.

An Aortoenteric Fistula Arising after Endovascular Management of a Mycotic Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Complicated with a Psoas Abscess

Mycotic aortic aneurysms account for 1–3% of all aortic aneurysms. The management of this disease is controversial. Since open surgical repair is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates, endovascular aneurysm repair is an alternative treatment method with promising early and midterm outcomes, although its long-term durability is unknown.Secondary aortoenteric fistulas may occur iatro...

Transesophageal echocardiography is superior to transthoracic echocardiography f...
